Cool Gifts For Men

How would you like to get you’re man amazingly great gift without have to put any thought into it? Who wouldn’t love that right. All you have to do is follow some of our cool gift for men suggestions. Each one of these potential gifts are awesome gadgets that we thought would be perfect for men. Each one of these gifts were chosen based on a few criteria. One of those criteria is modern and sleek designs. On top of that we also thought that technology is what makes products cool. As for our gift suggestion here are the top five cool gifts for men!

#5 The iPhone

Whenever we read the word “cool gift” we automatically think of the iPhone. The word iPhone has became synonymous with the word cool. Which is why we wanted it to be the first thing you would read in this article. Personally I’ve never owned an iPhone. However, I have bought an iTouch in the past. After downloading thousands of applications I can honestly say that it’s one of the greatest gifts of all time.

The iPhone literally has an application for everything. The best part is that the majority of applications in the store are entirely free. Some of those free applications include games, tools, and many more. The main difference between an iPhone and iTouch is that the iPhone features a camera. On top of that the iPhone can be activated and used as an actual phone. The closest the iTouch can come to a phone is downloading “Skype.” It’s a free program that allows you to make phone calls over networks.

#4 The Kindle

There is a revolution going on that you might not have heard of. It’s the conversion of books into electronic documents. These electronic documents can be installed on an eBook reader like the Kindle. They can then be brought anywhere with you. The Kindle can potentially carry an entire library of books with you anywhere you decide to go. We like the Kindle for a few reasons. The first is that it makes accessing your books easy. All you have to do is type in a search then it should pop on your screen. The second is that it promotes responsibility.

One of those responsibilities is people’s responsibility to the Earth. With products like the Kindle you’re potentially reducing the demand for pulp. Which reduces the likelihood of deforestation. It’s amazing what buying a simple product can do for the Earth. That’s exactly why we recommend the Kindle as a cool gift. On top of that the Kindle can access the internet at anytime. You don’t have to worry about paying any additional fee’s for the service.

#3 G-Dog The Robot Dog

Would you like a dog that doesn’t make a mess? You’ll never have to pick up his feces or clean up after him ever again! Unfortunately this robot dog isn’t available in any stores in the United States. However, for our friends in the United Kingdom we thought you might like this gift suggestion. The G-Dog has a variety of tricks up his sleeve. Most of the tricks that her can perform couldn’t be done by just a regular dog. Some of those tricks include a hand stand!

Now if you only the G-Dog could solve mysteries with a group of friends then he could do it all. The G-Dog has a reasonable price tag. Plus you can also buy “chips” that enable your dog to do even more tricks. As you can tell robotic technology is constantly advancing. Which mean’s you’ll be seeing a lot more toys like this one on the market. The only complaint that we had about the G-Dog is the fact that it isn’t the cutest thing in the world.

#2 Mobile Television

Mobile television is now a reality! Introduced by the Winegard Company the “Cio” has the ability to stream live television in your vehicles. The “Cio” is a LCD TV that can decode a new digital broadcast while it’s moving. The best part is that the broadcasts is entirely free. You won’t ever have to pay any subscription fees for the television broadcasts. All you have to do is stick the set in your car, rig the antenna’s, and do some tuning.

The idea of free television will definitely surprise a lot of people. What we liked most about the “Cio” is that it’s innovative. Of course, every product has to have a few downfalls. The downfalls of this product are simply it only lasts in local markets. Which means you shouldn’t plan on receiving a signal out of town. Another concern is people not paying attention to the read. I think we can all imagine Nancy Grace fans watching television instead of paying attention to the road.

#1 The Electronic Newspaper

One of our favorite gadgets this year is the electronic newspaper. It’s similar to the popular Kindle and Nook in a lot of ways. The “Skiff” as it’s called is a joint venture between Sprint and the New York based Skiff company. The electronic newspaper can download eBooks, newspaper, and magazine content. The most amazing part is that the electronic newspaper uses a screen from LG Displayers that almost has the resolution of the ink on a page.

The unit connects to the Sprint Network to automatically download content in real time. You won’t ever have to walk to a newspaper stand ever again. The buzz around this product lies in the struggling newspaper industry. The introduction of the electronic newspaper was intended to help the newspaper industry move more units. Electronic newspapers are forecasted to be in the top ten newspaper markets by the end of 2010.
